Seoseoi Resort rests along the West Sea of South Korea, a site where mountains collapse gracefully into the ocean, and the beach extends like a threshold between land and water.

The resort unfolds in three distinct zones, each responding to the site’s topography and programmatic demands: the hotel and condominium perched on a ridge, commanding sweeping ocean views; the golf resort, positioned between sculpted fairways and the beach’s edge; and private luxury residences, hidden within a quiet valley, connected to the coastline by secluded pathways.

At its core, the project seeks unity in difference—drawing inspiration not from the static beauty of the landscape, but from its fleeting movements. Here, nature choreographs a symphony of interactions: waves retreat, revealing red pebbles scattered across the sand, accompanied by glimmers of white shells. This ephemeral exchange between the elements informs the architectural language, translating nature’s dialogue into built form.

The hotel and condominium rise as a single, sweeping wave—an expression of continuity that captures both the motion and stillness of the ocean. The golf resort is a constellation of volumes, evoking the random precision of pebbles left behind by the tide. These scattered forms create a network of human-scale courtyards, fostering moments of community and pause. The private residences, conceived as shells, embrace the hillside with quiet elegance.
